Soft power: terms & conditions

Client Sign-Off

Before we proceed with your order we require your official approval. This stage is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT.
At this point, we require you to read over all of your order details including: quantities, sizes, colours, styles, positioning/placement, as well as review your proof. Once you give your approval, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions as well as notifying us that you have carefully reviewed every detail, and have deemed all the details correct. We are not responsible for any errors you overlook or terms you do not read. Production will not begin until we receive your official approval.

Ink Colour Matching

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that:
1: In the absence of a Pantone colour code or physical printed sample of a colour posted or delivered to us, we will endeavour to mix your ink colour as close as possible to what is shown on screen in your proof, but there is likely to be some degree of variation. This is due to many factors such as all computer screens being calibrated differently, computer screen brightness fluctuations and peoples perception of colours being varied.
2: Custom colours that we mix can vary slightly from order to order. We endeavour to keep a colour swatch for reference for each of our customers, however mixing colours is not a computerised process, it is an art process and despite our absolute best efforts, is not always 100% accurate. Colour can also vary depending on type/texture and colour of fabric that is used to print onto.

Garment Sizing

We are not responsible for any issues pertaining to the sizing of garments (S,M,L etc). Sizing info and measurements of all our suppliers garments are available to review on the relevant product pages. It is the customers responsibility to review these details before ordering. All suppliers have a specified tolerance of variation which can be viewed on their respective websites.

Garment Colour & Quality Expectations

We are not responsible for any garment colour variation between online product images on suppliers websites and real life colours. For our proofs that we supply before printing, we colour-pick from our suppliers online website images, and this is not always 100% accurate. We highly encourage customers to view/order a sample of selected garments to see in person prior to ordering. We quality check all our garments prior to decorating to get the best possible outcome for our clients, and return/replace any faulty items we encounter prior to decorating. While we are not responsible for any variation, faults or deterioration of the garment themselves, we ask you do let us know if you experience this so that we can investigate the issue with our suppliers.

Stock Availability

We are unable to guarantee stock availability (colours, sizes or stock levels) until we are physically placing your order with our supplier. We are not responsible for any of our suppliers' changes to their items (colours, sizes or styles). We require that you, as a client, check the availability of all your desired garments prior to ordering. If any changes take place on our supplier's behalf between the time of placing your order with us, and us ordering from them on your behalf, we will contact you and find an alternative. If we are unable to reach you we reserve the right to choose the best alternative as to not slow down production.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you wish to make a claim for replacements/refunds due to a faulty print or embroidery detail, please notify us within 3 business days of receiving your order. We care deeply for the quality of our work, it’s imperative we are notified of anything wrong as soon as humanly possible.

Misprints

In the unlikely event that a misprint occurs during the printing process, we are not always able to replace the garment, only offer a refund or credit for the item. If this is the case your order will be delivered with 1 item short. We do not keep stock at the studio. The process of re-ordering a replacement garment, waiting for it to arrive, and then re-setting up our machinery (especially for multi-coloured prints) to print 1 item separately would greatly effect our turnaround times and is simply not feasible. Please always keep this in mind when fulfilling pre-orders.

Pre-Orders

We encourage pre-sales to avoid waste and unnecessary costs for our clients however we are unable to guarantee prices of quotation will be honoured if long periods of time pass between quotation and placing your order. If our suppliers change pricing during this period, final pricing may vary from your original quote. Be sure to round up/include extra fees in your pre-sale prices to your customers to accommodate the chance of cost variation so you do not have to absorb these fees personally.
We cannot ensure that stock will be available at the time of ordering due to demand. We recommend you prepare some back up options for your clients and/or minimise the time between quoting and ordering.

Pricing

Our prices will change without notice over time. Our materials, garments and supplies costs have been rising as well as our utilities. These increases are reflected in our pricing. We cannot match invoices or quotes from the past.

Shipping

If required, shipping is calculated at the completion of your order and billed separately. We aren’t able to provide an accurate quote until we know the exact weight and dimensions of the box we send to you, therefore we cannot include this extra cost in your initial quote or invoice. If you would like to organize your own courier you can :) Once the order has been picked up from our studio we will send you a tracking number. While we will do everything in our power to make sure you get your goods, we are not responsible for any damage or lost items once they leave our studio. All of the responsibility then lies with the courier. We are not responsible for any delays and you will be responsible for contacting them directly with any complaints or grievances. The client is responsible for requesting extra cover/insurance if they require it.

The Right To Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse to work with a client based on their treatment of our staff. Sometimes we won't be the right fit for each other. In this case we encourage you to try another printer/decorator so you can get the service you require.
