Here at Soft Power, we really take pride in our trade and wherever we can we print by hand. We use quality garments that are made of natural fibers so they last longer and break down when you are done with them.

We print with water based inks so the print is gentle on your skin and the planet.  We use a mix of techniques; printing by hand and using our automatic machine on larger jobs to lessen the strain on our bodies and fasten turn around times.

Screen printing is a technique that has stood the test of time, ensuring the highest quality print with the longevity that far outwears any digital printing alternative.

1. Contact Us

First we’ll need all the details of what you’d like to print. This includes:

  • Garment style

  • Quanities

  • Size and position of print

  • Whether it’s back and front printing

  • Number of colours in the design (best to send us your art files straight up!)

 

2. Invoice Stage

Once we’ve settled on all the details, an invoice will be sent to you for payment.

We require full payment upfront in order to cover the costs of your garments and materials.

3. Artwork Approval

As soon as we have recieved your payment, we will send you a summary of your order, along with a printing proof showing the size, position, and colour of your print. Once we have your approval, your goods are ordered and we go into production!

 

4. Order Ready!

As soon as your printing comes out of our dryer, we package it into a box and email you with the good news - it’s ready! You can either pick your order up from our studio, or we can arrange shipping.

we use Eco-Friendly Inks

 

At our studio, our experienced printers choose to use eco-friendly, water based inks by Permaset over plastisol inks.

Although screen printing is not an inherently environmentally friendly process we do our best to keep our clients and our earth safe. Using water based inks is much nicer on your body as well as the environment. With no solvents used these inks cost the earth less in the manufacturing as well as their disposal. They are also less toxic for our staff.

Our printers have worked with both plastisol and water based over the years and have now chosen solely to use the best ink for you and our planet : )
